Agreement N° 9: Regulation of the Comisión Clasificadora de Riesgo

This Regulation was issued by the Commission on November 24, 1994, pursuant to the provisions established in Article 102 of Decree Law Nº 3,500, which states that the Commission shall agree upon a procedure regulating the operation and staff of the Administrative Secretariat.

This document was modified by the Commission on October 29, 2008 and includes the amendments made by Agreement Nº 30 published in the Official Gazette, on November 22, 2008. This modification results from the Pension System Reform (Law Nº 20,255 published in the Official Gazette on March 17, 2008), which revises the members and the functions and powers of the Commission.

This Agreement describes the functions and members of the CCR, although they are defined in articles 99 and 100 of Decree Law Nº 3,500, then the functions to be carried out by the President, the way the Commission is formed and the requirements for their meetings. It also defines the existence of an Administrative Secretariat, the Secretary thereof and their functions and powers.
